- Taking a page out of Tim Burgess' book, the city of Olympia has passed a law outlining 25 new "no-panhandling" zones, defined as those near ATMs and parking pay stations. Olympia's City Council voted in favor of the ban yesterday, and it will go into effect next week. [Olympian]
- The ultra-desirable Denny Triangle will be getting a luxurious new set of high-rises, meaning you'll never be able to get a table at the Hurricane again, and lines at Whole Foods will be impossibly long. [Seattle Times]
