- The proposal to raise the fee to obtain and renew WA State driver's licenses passed a House panel today, making it very likely that the raise in rates will become law. The proposal is said to raise $120 million over the next two years--money which would go not to roads, but to the faltering ferry system. [Seattle PI]
- Battery and Wall Sts. will both be getting new bus lanes, says KC Metro, which is exciting for anyone who's ever sat through three consecutive light cycles without moving on a bus on Wall St. Which is probably many among us. [King County Metro]
