  • Seattle Police officers recovered the body of a 47-year-old man behind a dumpster at 28th and NW Market St. in Ballard. The SPD Blotter noted that there were no outward signs of trauma, though the PI reports that the man was homeless, and that the man's neck bore "suspicious" marks. [Seattle PI]

  • To market, to market, to sample some beer! The Governor signed into law today a bill that will allow beer and wine vendors to serve small amounts of their products at farmers markets. [Seattle Times]

  • Speaking of drinking, Senate Republicans unveiled yet another bill to privatize liquor today, though this one, supporters are saying, would still involve the state, thus generating revenue. Goldy says it's a bad idea. We're inclined to believe Goldy. [KOMO]
