- A Woodinville girl was raped in her own home, at knifepoint, by a man known by her family. The man was arrested, but that doesn't make the event any less traumatic. [KOMO]

- On the other end of the police spectrum, an SPD officer was charged with assault today, regarding a convenience store video that showed the office repeatedly kicking a teenager. Bets on how the SPD will handle this one? [Seattle Times]
