Car Stereo Thrown Through Lawrimore Project Window Last Night

After the art walk last night, a car stereo was thrown through the window of Pioneer Square gallery the Lawrimore Project, says Jen Graves at the Slog. It is unknown whether it was a random act of vandalism or a protest against the exhibition. But considering the graffiti-inspired work being displayed, as Graves said, "If they were protesting graffiti with an act of vandalism, that's some oxymoronic business." Our guess? Someone just felt like throwing a car stereo at something.

No art was stolen, and as far as we know, the only damage was to the window.

Lawrimore has had trouble before when an "accidental transient fire" destroyed There Goes the Neighborhood, which was on sale for $8,500.
