- Two local insurance agents have been accused of misappropriating over $146,570. According to the PI, the defendants charged clients higher premiums, as well as transferred funds into personal accounts. [Seattle PI]
- Community Transit, which laid off about 100 employees last year, is preparing to cut service an additional 20%, as well as potentially issue more pink slips. The agency, which supplies transportation to some of the King and Snohomish Counties' more rural areas, issued a statement blaming the drop in sales taxed. [Seattle Times]
- Area residents are complaining even more about the weather than usual, but may have good reason. Today marks the 41st day in a row where the prediction has been "Mostly cloudy" or worse, and the sky has retained at least 70% cloud cover for most of the day. [KOMO]
