Did you Miss Last Night's Premier of "The Killing"? AMC's Got You Covered

As we've previously discussed, not having a TV is kind of a badge of honor among the youth. Unfortunately, opting out of cable also means that you may miss out on an opportunity to have something interesting to talk about on the topic of local pop-culture. Case in point, last night's premier of The Killing, AMC's remake of a the Danish drama, "Forbrydelsen." Set in Seattle (but filmed in Vancouver), those in favor are excited to see whether or not this "Nordic Noir" will complete a trifecta of awesomeness, alongside Mad Men and Breaking Bad, while critics are finding it hard to avoid comparisons (very similar plot, filmed in the same region, tag-line that begins with "Who Killed..." and ends with the name of a dead teenage girl) to cult favorite Twin Peaks.

Which means, either way, you'll probably want to watch at least the pilot episode--even if you aren't "into TV." Luckily for you, AMC is offering last night's first two episodes online. Be part of the conversation (without taking part in the ownership of a television) here.
