On the Road: Steel Tigers of Death
Spring and summer time is that magical few months when all our local bands go out on tour (and bands from other places grace us with their presence as well). Whether it be festivals, huge venues or tiny little crapholes, they are out there toiling away to get their music out to the masses. Admittedly, we miss them. We're used to having them around to play shows once or twice a month and now they've been callously ripped from our hands and thrust out into the world. Well, Seattlest Music is attempting to bring a little bit of them back to Seattle as they tour by being text message pals. They'll be sending photos and quotes all along the way for us to share. This is gonna be fun!
Our first run at this is with Steel Tigers of Death. A super fun group of guys that happen to dress up in crazy outfits anything they perform, even on the radio. Speaking of which you can check out their recent live performance on KEXP.org. Below are the texts we've gotten since the beginning of their tour March 31st.
