Changing of the Guards: Your Eater In Chief
Me: Crabbing. The poor little crab's fate was my tummy.
Hello fantabulous (I know it's not technically a word, but I like it, so whatever) readers, you've hopefully already noticed me 'round these parts when it comes to all things related to food and drink. Yesterday marked the last day for our pretty kick-ass editor Allecia, who is moving onto a very exciting venture. The secret is sorta out, so keep your eyes peeled for more of her in other places soon.
I digress, I'm supposed to talk about me. Really it boils down to one thing: I'm crazy about food. Scouring the blogs and Twitter-waves for new information on must try dishes, restaurants in the works and expanding my culinary palate.
Fridays, you'll often find me slurping noodles in the International District with friends, where we discuss our most recent food outings and adventures in the kitchen. I drink Manhattans, red wine and beer. If you aren't already following me on Twitter, well, get on it. @voraciousgirl. Food related musings plus the requisite cute cat picture (or two.)
Hopefully you are here because you care about eating/drinking in Seattle. What to expect in the future? Regular reports on opening/closings, food-related gossip, restaurant reviews, trends, cocktails, beer news and grape juice (I mean wine). We have a growing group of writers excited to share what they know and love with the people (that's you.)
On that note, we are looking to expand the group, so if you have an interest, email me: food@seattlest.com. Let's talk and nosh.
