Changing Things Around: The New Seattlest Regime

Seattlest Cake.jpg As March draws to a close, it's time for me to bit you adieu, Seattlest readers, and lay out some changes happening with the site.

I'm moving on to something new here in Seattle in the coming weeks, and I'm very excited to have two of our writers, Hanna Brooks Olsen and Jose Amador, stepping in as co-editors.

Hanna will be running things 'round here Monday through Friday, while Jose is in charge on the weekends and will serve as A&E editor--a natural extension of his current theater writing role.

Meanwhile our editorial roster keeps growing. As food editor, Lorraine Goldberg makes sure you don't miss out on bacchanalian events and restaurant news, while news editor Sarah Lloyd keeps close tabs on tunnel drama and other issues of the day. No doubt you've already noticed both these ladies' contributions in amping up our food and news coverage in recent weeks.

And of course let's not forget Morgen's diligent efforts as music editor, and Amy, who will be serving as the site's business manager.

You can learn more about everyone on the staff page. I have to say, it's awfully difficult to part ways with this group of writers. Having a relationship with 25-odd people who are passionate, informed, hysterical and, let's face it, a lot cooler than me, has forever changed my existence here in Seattle.

Thanks, everyone. Hanna and Jose...take it away.
