It's a fact: the internet loves Toro Y Moi, aka Chazwick Bundick, and we have a hunch that he loves it just as much. We dare you to try to find an indie fashion or culture blog that doesn't mention him at least once. For example, it was Urban Outfitters that debuted a first listen to early 2011's Underneath the Pines. Paper Magazine included him in their 'Beautiful People of 2010' feature. He recently played live at the American Apparel factory via Viva Radio. Oh and, um, his music is actually really good.

Under the name Toro he released his first album, 2010's Causers of This . Everyone gobbled it up thanks to it's insatiable blend of dreamy low-fi and croony dance beats. His latest, also under the Carpark Records label, plays a little bit differently and has been thoroughly embraced for its expansion of musical instruments. We have to admit, however, we probably love his mellow, stripped down, acoustic demos the most just cause we're boring like that. We're not quite sure how Toro's sound will translate live, but it's safe to say he'll be looking fly.

The Canadian four-piece Braids are opening, we've had a crush on them since we saw them play with Baths earlier this year.
