Grimy: Sic Alps at The Funhouse

As a native San Franciscan, I've been drooling over the Sic Alps for a couple of years now. They make trippy garage rock full of sweet melodies and weird lyrics, and have mastered sounding both kind of poppy and kind of grimy at the same time. In the five short years they've been a band, the internet has gobbled them up whole because of fuzzy, 60s sound and excellent live shows.
Openers for the night include Seattle's favorite crunchy and jarring Idle Times, and supergroup Puberty, lead by The Intelligence's Lars Finberg and Susanna Welbourne, also featuring members of The Shins, The Cops, The Chevy Chasers, and The Old Haunts.
To add to the appeal, one of our favorite dive punk clubs, the ever grimy, ever grungy, ever awesome Funhouse is hosting the show- with Halloween decorations all year long and a slightly cave-like feel, we think it's going to be a fun evening.
