Before You Woke Up: Seattle Broke A Record for Cold
As portended, Seattle shattered its low-temperature record for February 25. This record-busting went down at 4 a.m., according to the Seattle Times, when the thermometer sank to 21 degrees. The previous record for cold for this day was 22 degrees in 1962.
