Rachel the Pike Place Market pig is in recovery after a taxi plowed into the famous bronze statue on Saturday. The bronze piggy bank (which collects visitors' change for social services) got knocked off her concrete base--no small thing considering Rachel weighs 550 pounds. KING5 reports that flowers, a drawing of Rachel, and a note have sprung up at her usual location wishing her a speedy recovery.

The note reads "Taking a sick day - will be back soon to help the market's seniors and kids. Th-oinks!"
