Free Show and Sasquatch Suspicions. Who's Gonna Be There?

sasquatch.jpg This Sunday, Live Nation and Sasquatch Music Festival are putting on a fabu bill at Showbox Market. The lineup consists of three incredible acts, each capable of headlining their own shows. OK, we won't keep you in suspense any longer: The Thermals; Das Racist, and Mad Rad are all a part of the show. Crazy right? What's even crazier is the entry price... FREE! Starting yesterday participating Verizon Wireless stores are giving away tickets. The locations taking part are Downtown Seattle (6th & Olive), Northgate Mall and Bellevue Square Mall and you can only grab two each.

The point of this little gathering of musical magic is to announce the official lineup of this year's Sasquatch Music Festival. We already know the Foo Fighters are headlining at least one evening of the three-day event. We've also been privy to several other acts rumored to grace the Sasquatch stages: Wolf Parade; Arcade Fire; Wye Oak; Matt and Kim; Bright Eyes; Cold War Kids; Best Coast; Cut Copy; Fitz and the Tantrums; Sleigh Bells and Twin Shadow. Quite a list.

Here at Seattlest we've also got a wish list: Deerhunter; Crystal Castles; Tallest Man on Earth; Jenny & Johnny; Black Keys; Devo; Flaming Lips; The Long Winters; Ben Folds; The Strokes; They Might Be Giants; Tom Waits and The White Stripes... oh wait, nevermind about that last one (too soon?).

Any crazy premonitions? Dream bands? Groups that would make you sell your ticket and vow never to go to Sasquatch again? Drop it in a comment!
