To be honest, we hadn't heard a whole lot about Girlyman, though they have quite a following. As we began getting to know this band, we understood why so many people are absorbed in this music. It's sweet and kind, with a memorable melody you find yourself singing long after removing the headphones.

What impressed us most was the intimacy of their music and the connection Girlyman members feel to their fans and, in turn, how the fans feel connected to them. There's no better evidence of this than their most recent album.

According to Girlyman.com Everything's Easy is "self-produced and engineered, [it] was recorded with a single, ten thousand dollar microphone, financed by fan donations." Rarely do you hear such support for any band, much less one that doesn't have regular national radio play. We are really looking forward to the show they have in store for us tonight. The Triple Door seems to be the perfect place to relax, throw back a good cocktail, and enjoy the dulcet tones of Girlyman. We invite you to join in on the revelry.
