We’re stoked to announce that tonight, we’ll be celebrating the release of Say Hi’s latest record, Um, Uh Oh at Neumos, with the likes of Washington’s own The Globes and Seattle transplant Cataldo.

It's been a spiral of growing Say Hi (formerly known as Say Hi to Your Mom) fandom for us ever since we heard 2006's Impeccable Blahs. Eric Elbogen creates excellently crafted, doom-tinged pop songs that you’re not sure what to do with, because they manage to be both extremely melancholy and totally uplifting at the same time. We’d be missing something huge if we failed to mention his delicate usage of subject matter like spiders, pixels, magic beams, fangs, dancing, ghosts, bruises, mosquitoes, death, relationships, and old ladies with toads for pets. Let's be honest: if you're not sold yet, you're boring and have bad taste in music.

Openers for the evening include Barsuk labelmates The Globes, who’ve received much buzz lately as one of Seattle’s most promising new bands, and Cataldo, who we’ve heard whispers of for years and are stoked to finally hear live.
Love Neumos, good music, and a good, old fashioned release party? Get celebratory with us, tonight.
