Vera Project 10 Years in Photos: Day 18

February 21, 2007: then-Mayor Greg Nickels cuts the ribbon on Vera's Seattle Center venue. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community - including hundreds of individuals, local businesses, and city, county and state government - Vera raised the $1.8 million needed to open its new home at Seattle Center. This marked a new era of strength and stability for Seattle's all-ages music and arts scene.
