Seattle, You've Got to Wait For Your Starbucks Trenta

As we mentioned yesterday, Starbucks is rolling out a new 31-ounce larger-than-the-human-stomach "trenta" size in certain states today. The company got back to us with some specifics on the rollout. It looks like warmer states get a head start on guzzling these enormous drinks.

According to Starbucks, today's trenta launch is only in southern and southwestern states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Hawaii, Nevada and Arizona. The giant cups march into California on February 1, then become available nationwide on May 3.

Fair enough. It's not exactly iced tea weather around these parts.
