Can't Miss It: Monday

scrabbleboard.jpg WORDS WITH FRIENDS: except, in real life! Remember playing games in real life? The folks at Skylark Cafe & Pub do, and they're letting you play too. Monday is scrabble night, and for $5, you can enter a tournament and get your game on. Better yet, the entry fee goes to Community Harvest.

7:00 p.m. // Skylark Cafe & Pub // $5

CASCADDDDDDDIA: whether it's from your hippie uncle, or your organic obsessed coworker; you've probably heard of Cascadia. Tonight, Town Hall brings you 'Cascadia: A Vision for a Restorative Future'. The three speakers are Bullitt Foundation’s Denis Hayes, Lucia Athens, Chief Sustainability Officer, City of Austin, TX and Patrick Condon, Professor of Landscape and Liveable Environments at University of British Columbia. Moderated conversation will follow, likely with lots of works like "sustainable" and "ecosystems".

6:00 p.m. // Town Hall // $5

LOCAL LADY: Bainbridge Island journalist Claire Dedere will be at Elliott Bay Books tonight, in support of her new memoir Poser: My Life in Twenty-three Yoga Pose, which looks adorable. Her book breaks down family dynamics + liberal über-moms + yoga.

7:00 p.m. // Elliott Bay Book Company // FREE
