Seattlest is excited to celebrate Vera Project's 10th Anniversary with an archival photo from the venue's history every day in January. In 2003 Vera opened its silkscreen studio. The Northwest music scene has a long tradition of silkscreened art, from posters to shirts to album covers, and Vera's studio provides both affordable classes and open studio time for young artists. Here longtime Vera designer Andy Abero teaches one of Vera's early silkscreen classes.
