Can't Miss It: Monday

scoreboardbaby.jpg DAWGS!: We're kind of pissed (okay, livid) we didn't know the book Scoreboard, Baby existed until hearing about Ken Armstrong's event tonight at the Bellevue library. Armstrong wrote the book with Nick Perry about the tainted crap pool Husky Football became in the late 90s and beyond, based on the awesome four-part 2008 Seattle Times exposé. We'll be purchasing the book ASAP, but go check out the author in person.

NICE BEAVER: Remember when Frank Drebin said that? Sigh. Sure you got annoyed when everyone thought they were clever making "Shirley" quote/jokes on their Facebook statuses, but you know you were awfully sad when you heard news of Leslie Nielsen's passing. Honor him with the original Naked Gun tonight at Central Cinema.

BADLY DRAWN BAND NAME: We're not going to pretend like we know much about Badly Drawn Boy, beyond that the name always kind of rubbed us the wrong way. But he's British, he has a beard, so just admit you like the crap out of him (and Morgen will have a preview up later on today to further educate you). He's at Triple Door with Justin Jones tonight.
