Local Artist Slated to Receive Unrestricted $50K Grant

Tomorrow, artists’ advocacy organization United States Artists (USA) will announce the 2010 winners of 50 USA Fellowship grants for artistic excellence - and this year one of the awardees is from Seattle. The chosen artists, in eight creative disciplines spanning the visual, performing, and literary arts, will receive an unrestricted grant of $50,000. The winners will be announced at 5 p.m. PST on Tuesday, December 7, during a ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York (live stream at www.unitedstatesartists.org).
