A Perfect Circle: Sold Out and Loving It

We at Seattlest hate cliches as much as the next guy, but in the case of A Perfect Circle it has to be said. They are a "supergroup" of monstrous proportions; with Maynard from Tool, Iha from the Pumpkins, and Freese from NIN there's really no other description for it. It's probably the reason that every show on their short west coast tour sold out in about 14 minutes. Yep, 14. Several of the stops on their tour are three-show stints at the same venue. It's curious that they chose to do it that way. Perhaps they didn't feel like going all over the country but wanted to make some major bank anyway... smart move actually. The repeat shows in certain cities didn't slow down ticket-purchases though, obviously.

We are looking forward to the show, and hopefully all the pomp and hype surrounding it won't build up expectation too much. Even if you weren't able to snag a precious ticket, you can see their performance from the Jimmy Kimmel show that kicked off their tour. Make sure you check back for photos from the Saturday show.

I prefer to think of him as Freese from The Vandals!
