Cracking Nuts: Washington's Arlene Wagner To Be Conan's First Guest
From the Nutcracker Museum's Website
As we mentioned recently, Washington’s very own Arlene Wagner (founder and curator of Leavenworth's Nutcracker Museum) was one of 12 potential interviewees to be Conan O'Brien's first guest on his new show. The show debuts tonight and the people have spoken. Kind of.
Team Coco isn't saying who is set to appear, but the polls are closed and Conan recently made this video in which he announced that all but three of fans' picks have been eliminated, including Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, for various reasons. Who remains? Jack Nicholson (who hasn't given an interview since the Nixon administration), the Sultan of Brunei, and Mrs. Wagner.
While officially mums the word concerning the first guest, Mrs. Wagner herself has spilled the beans. She recently confirmed with King 5 that she will be appearing on the show tonight. Mrs. Wagner told King 5 that she had no idea how she got on the list of globally recognized personalities and that "they just called [them] out of the blue."
We definitely won't be missing the chance to root for a hometown hero and welcome Conan back to late night. Check it out tonight starting at 11 p.m. on TBS
