The Stranger Election Control Board Kicked Out of Rossi/Reichert Party (With Help From Four Loko)

Official election night parties usually don't get too rowdy--perhaps an intern has a little too much to drink and gets fresh, but that's about where it ends. Which is why Dino Rossi and Dave Reichert's party at the Bellevue Hilton was just begging for members of the Stranger Election Control Board (at least Lindy West and Bethany Jean Clement), who came prepared with Four Loko.

After, according to Lindy West's Twitter, chugging some Four out of a Nalgene bottle in the parking lot and meeting a Republican steampunk (??), they started to cause a ruckus--at least, a ruckus by Bellevue Republican standards. They followed Dave Reichert. How dare they!

Reichert's campaign apparently had enough after kicking them out of a hallway that it was apparently perfectly okay for them to be in and then ordering them to stay 50 feet away from Reichert, which I'm not sure is legally binding, because they are "disturbed" by The Stranger (bonus: that post includes Slade Gordon and a can of Four in the same photo):

Five minutes ago the SECB was approached by a Hilton employee wearing a gold name tag. The SECB was on its way back into the main ballroom because, hey, that's where the balloons are.

"You're causing problems for parties," the Hilton employee informed the SECB. The Hilton employee then escorted the SECB from the premises.

They were chased for a while by Hilton security, at one point hiding behind an ice machine, before being ejected from the hotel.

I have learned two things from this incident: the Stranger Election Control Board is welcome at all the parties I ever throw ever, and Dave Reichert, a proven party pooper, is not.

The Stranger is run by children and should never be taken seriously.
