HEALTH CARE FOR ALL: Bestselling author, reporter and NPR commentator T.R. Reid will be speaking tonight as a part of Seattle Arts & Lectures on health care and his latest book, The Healing of America: A Global Quest for Better, Cheaper, and Fairer Health Care. Reid will be discussing the current state of health care in the U.S. as compared with other countries such as Japan, which offers universal and excellent care for less than half of what the U.S. spends per capita. If you're yet to have heard Reid on NPR or to have read any of his work, definitely consider making it down to Benaroya tonight--do it. His thoughts on socialized medicine will leave you speechless. Single tickets still available!
