Tonight, Tonight: Matt & Kim, Fang Island at the Showbox

Brooklyn's finest indie pop dance duo Matt & Kim will be headlining a show tonight at the Showbox, playing songs off of their two older releases (2006's Self Titled and 2009's Grand,) and hopefully sneaking in some songs off their November 2 release, Sidewalks. As we mentioned before, rumor has it their live shows are crazy, high energy fun, (Pitchfork said they put on "one of the most ridiculously fun live shows on the planet") and we can't wait to report back our findings.

Accompanying them on their West Coast leg of the tour are the synthy, post-rock Fang Island, whose big sound omits an enthusiasm that we're quite sure will be even more fun live.
