Be An Extra, Extra

As collective dreams and aspirations go, becoming a Hollywood celebrity is probably pretty high on the list. The fancy parties, the perfect hair, the drama, the fame and fortune. Who wouldn’t want to justify your personal life to the public or fend off stalkers and paparazzi? Well, lucky for you, here’s a chance to get just one step closer to making those star-studded dreams a reality.

The independent film, Judas Kiss, has been filming in Seattle since August 13 and is the fifth feature film to be shot in the city this year (so far!). They’ve set up camp at the UW campus this week, but the film will also feature locations in Capitol Hill as well as some infamous landmarks. Over 50 local crew and cast members have been hired (yahoo!) by the flick. "We chose Seattle because we wanted something different than Los Angeles," says director J.T. Tepnapa.

So where do you come in, aspirant glamour queen? Pencil in some time this Saturday to show off your best smile for the role of a lifetime (Crowd Member #53). UW’s Guggenheim Auditorium needs to be filled to the rafters for a scene, and your gorgeous face could be just what they need for row 32. So check out this link, practice your acceptance speech and get ready for your close-up, Seattle.
