A&E Odds 'n Ends

Tickets for PNB's Nutcracker went on sale this week. Early-bird savings and no service fees for tickets purchased through July 25. Also this week (July 19-25) services fees will be waived on all single ticket purchases for PNB's 2010-2011 Season.
On the Boards has announced their A.W.A.R.D. Show! lineup. Lots of familiar names will be competing for the $10K grand prize in January 2011, among them Marc Kenison aka "Waxie Moon", Ellie Sandstrom (SANDSTROMMOVEMENT), Marissa Rae Niederhauser (Josephine's Echopraxia) and Zoe Scofield (zoe | juniper).

Anne Derieux, Executive Director of Spectrum Dance Theater, has announced her resignation effective the end of this month. Derieux has accepted the position of Director of Advancement at the French American School of Puget Sound. Meanwhile, Spectrum has announced their 2010-2011 season.

Taproot Theatre will open 2011 - its 35th Anniversary Season - with an adaptation of Homer's Odyssey. Taproot's 2011 Season will also include the West Coast Premiere of Brownie Points and Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband.
