Can't Miss It: Monday

consignment.jpg CONSIGNMENT aren't you so sick of Mondays? I know. Us too. They just keep happening, it's so ridiculous. But there remains hope for a fun evening out tonight, and we've got you covered. But Seattle's lo-fi cassette recording band Consigment might be worth checking out tonight at The Comet. Because of cassettes! They play with Pretty Birds That Kill and Mark Sparkles.

8:00 p.m. // The Comet Tavern // $5

MORE MONDAY MUZAK: It's a good Monday for music tonight, as there's also a nice little show roundup over at Neumo's...Pearly Gate Music, Campfire Ok and Beer and Robots. We are firm believers that beer, campfires and robots are all good things, and thus wholeheartedly recommend this show.

7:00 p.m. // Neumo's // $10

SPEAK 'N SPELL: Little kids! Spelling! Over-achieving! YEAH! There is almost nothing we don't like about a spelling bee. But what's even better is the double whammy of theater about kids over-achieving. You can get a load of it all at 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' tonight at Ballard Underground. Still not convinced? Check out our review of the show.

8:00 p.m. // Ballard Underground // $15-20
