Volunteers of America to Celebrate Grand Opening in Greenwood
This Friday marks your chance to join Volunteers of America as they celebrate the grand opening of a new Community Resource Center in Greenwood. A terrific addition to the neighborhood, it will house the Greenwood Food Bank, Disability Services and Senior Companion Program. To commemorate the occasion, a short program will begin at 6:30 p.m. This grand opening will also include tasty refreshments by Tom Douglas and live music by the Piper’s Creek Roots Music Group.
Supporters can enter the event raffle for their chance to win one of many excellent prizes. Greenwood’s own Steven Cole Salon is among the many local businesses contributing to the cause. You can join the effort by bringing a monetary donation or canned food items for the food bank. Featuring art from Andy Aupperlee and Volunteers of America clients, this grand opening is not to be missed.
