Movie Buffs Unite! Help Us Unravel The Mysteries of the SIFF Trailer

Your Seattlest has been at our fair share of SIFF showings over the course of the last few weeks, and enjoyed most of them thoroughly. But there's been one thing that's bugging us - the SIFF Festival trailer that shows that runs before every show. We see it almost every night, and almost every night we see a new movie reference, from cult hits hits like Ghost World and Battle Royale High School to the excellent Mad Max/Star Wars mashup at the end, as well as a nod to probably our favorite films of all time, 2001: A Space Odyssey. But for every one we catch, we grow more aware of the many we're missing.

We can't be the only ones getting a little loopy with frustration over this matter, so we're taking a cue from the Planeteers and letting our powers combine - let us know what movies and references you're seeing that we're not in the comments. Together, we can figure this out.

My guesses (including background elements): The Notebook, Crumb, A Brief History of Time, Buffalo 66, The Animatrix - "Beyond", Moon, Angel-A, My Life as a Dog, That Night, Garbage Dreams, The Usual Suspects, Pump Up the Volume, (The Opposite of Sex?), Blood On The Flat Track, Star Wars, OSS 117: Nest of Spies, Mad Max 2, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Donnie Darko, The Conversation, Battle Royale, (Aladdin?), Black Dynamite, 500 Days of Summer, Eagle vs. Shark, Ghost World

Ok, I got The Notebook, Whip It, Hedwig, 500 Days, and Star Wars/Mad Max.

In the middle looks like Nicholas Cage. Leaving Las Vegas?

The girl with the star on her face has been driving me nuts for two weeks, help!

At 30 seconds: woman & man in toilet - Angel-A

    At 32 seconds: Dr. Strangelove?

At 33 seconds: Could be "Whip It" OR "Blood on the Flat Track..."

Just around 44/45 seconds it looks like Gene Hackmen to the left (The conversation?) and to the right was a man in blue suit and gun - perhaps "Black Dynamite"?

At 46 seconds: it looks like - 500 days of summer.

The 5th Element, Whip It, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Donnie Darko, 500 Days of Summer, Eagle vs. Shark.
