Calling All Crazy Cat Ladies

Do you think you have Seattle’s sweetest cat? How about the most playful or scrappiest looking? Perhaps you even enjoy dressing your cat in silly costumes. If you answered "yes" to one or more of these questions then we have the perfect event for you. The seventh annual Average Joe Cat Show will be taking place on Saturday, May 15th at Shoreline Center. Enter now through May 10th to give your feline friends an opportunity to compete in over 20 categories including “fluffiest tail” and “most unusual markings.” You can also submit your favorite pet photos to the Average Joe Cat Show photo contest.

The event will feature fun for the whole family with a kid’s corner, vendor booths, contests and more. Adults can browse and bid on items in the silent auction or delve into your cat’s inner psyche with the cat psychic. You may even find a new addition to your home as several adoptable cats and kittens will be on-site at the event. Proceeds from the show will benefit Purrfect Pals, a local no-kill cat sanctuary based in Arlington, WA.

10:00 a.m // Shoreline Center 18560 1st Avenue NE Shoreline, WA 98155 // Tickets: $5; $12 family (each cat or photo entry entitles entrant to one free entry ticket)
