LIGHTIN' IT UP ON 4/20: Along with hosting the Langston Hughes African American Film Festival this week, Central Cinema will be showing the latest from the world's most famous stoners Cheech and Chong tonight in honor of the annual 4/20 celebration. Hey, Watch This is a documentary based on the popular duo's "Light Up America" reunion tour from last year. DUUUDE... pizza, beer, and cotton mouth....

REAL LOVE: Northwest Film Forum will be showing Barking Water tonight, a film about a couple--Irene and Frankie--as they look back on all of the ups and downs of their long-lasting relationship. Touted as "one of America's most moving love stories," Sterlin Harjo's Barking Water was awarded with the Official Selection of 2009 at the Sundance Film Festival and was the winner of the Worldfest Bronze Remi Award for Creative Excellence, among a laundry list of other awards and mentions.

TOUGH NEW PLANET: Environmentalist Bill McKibben will be at Town Hall tonight to speak about the planet and his new book, Eaarth: Making a Life on a Tough New Planet. McKibben has renamed our planet, "Eaarth," due to the modern environmental changes we've seen it go through, making it a fundamentally out of balance, new planet.
