PIRATES AND DEATH RAYS: this reading with William Dietrich at University Bookstore caught our eye...the synopsis for his book "The Barbary Pirates: An Ethan Gage Adventure" is that it's a pirate attempting to stop a death ray. When the main character is hailed as "the early-nineteenth-century’s answer to Indiana Jones" you can't really go wrong, right?
