Can't Miss It: Tuesday
PRINCE'S REIGN: Central Cinema will be showing Prince's Purple Rain until Thursday--when they will also include a "Prince and Friends sing-a-long" for all of those interested in belting it out in the name of Prince this April Fool's Day. However, if you're not one to be singing in the movie theatre, go tonight and enjoy yourself some fantastic Purple Rain, beers, and stone oven pizza. This is definitely one cult classic that all Prince fans should see in their lifetime (if you haven't a billion times already).
7:00; 9:30 p.m. // Central Cinema, 1411 21st Ave. // Tickets: $6
COMEDY FOR A CAUSE: The Comedy Underground is hosting Non-Profit Comedy tonight for Seattle's 911 Media Arts Center, "Washington State’s premiere non-profit media center supporting the creative use of media for communication and art making." Non-Profit Comedy, featuring local comic Yoram Bauman, has raised over $75,000 for local schools, organizations, and much more.

BREAKING GOOD: Small Press Book Fest ends tomorrow, so get out there while you can! Tonight will feature local poet Kim-an Lieberman, author of Breaking the Map, "A poet's journey through mythical Vietnam, contemporary America, and the enduring landscape of memory." We've heard lots of good things about the Vietnamese/Jewish American poet and would definitely recommend checking her out--especially if you're yet to have hit up the book fest.
