    Seriously - how is the proposed Chihuly "museum" a good thing for the Seattle Center? The Center is a public park, to be used by all. The Chihuly proposal (as I understand it) would charge admission, offering nothing in the way of public benefit. Chihuly already has his masturbatory ode to himself in Tacoma - why do we need another one less than 40 miles away?

    Also, this proposal doesn't fit in AT ALL with the Seattle Center Century 21 Master Plan.

    Alsoalso, Chihuly is a hack.

    Well, it's a good thing in that it'll allow Seattle Center to pay its own way. But we can't disagree with your points - if it's not offering public benefit, it seems like it doesn't belong in the Center.
