Stand Up And Be Counted - Census Arrives Soon

Census forms will be arriving soon in the mailbox of each and every red-blooded American. They may not, however, be arriving on a Saturday, as the USPS is pushing legislators to let it cut Saturday deliveries altogether. This is not something they want to do - it is something they have to do to cut costs, which laying off some 30,000 employees apparently did not do.

Eventually, though, you can rest assured that census forms will probably make their way even out to the lily-livered, pinko West Coast, mostly because they are required to count us as well. But remember, if you really love your country, you will throw the form you get mailed to you in the trash (okay, the recycling, hippie) and make sure that the door-to-door workers of the census have to track you down and thus remain employed for a few more precious hours. So toss your mail order form, set the table for two and get ready to be interrogated by the federal government about your personal life for a few hours. It is your duty as a citizen!
