Can't Miss It: Tuesday

SHOW YOUR LIBRARY LOVE: The Seattle Public Library will be hosting a Citywide Conversation tonight at the Northgate Library Branch and they encourage the community to come out and "use their creativity in considering new models, services and potentially new roles for the Library." Support your local library and come be a part of the future because ain't nothin' better than free books!

6:00 p.m. // Northgate Library Branch, 10548 Fifth Ave. N.E. // FREE

INDIE BOOK FEST: Pilot Books is kicking off the second day of their Small Press Book Fest, which will be going on until the end of the month. However, tonight features S.F. poetry celeb Matthew Zapruder along with CAConrad who we're sure gets much confusion over his name. (But maybe that's just us.) Much loved for his work published by Copper Canyon Press such as The Pajamaist, Zapruder has as well been featured in McSweeney's and The New Yorker, and he is the co-editor of the Seattle poetry press, Wave Books.

6:00 p.m. // Pilot Books, 219 Broadway E Suite #28 // FREE

DOUBLE FEATURE: Cult classics The Blues Brothers and Repo Man are playing tonight and seriously, what could be better than these two movies with some great pizza and beer added in? We don't think we need to go into much detail about either of these movies as all of you we're sure are acquainted with both of them already. Oy, a night of young Dan Aykroyd, Emilio Estevez, and John Belushi in all of their 80s gloriousness... Tuesday's don't get much better that.

Blues Brothers, 7:00 p.m., Repo Man, 10:00 p.m. // Central Cinema, 1411 21st Avenue // Tickets: $6 for each show
