It's a beautiful morning in Seattle -- it's crisp, it's cool, and the sun fills the sky like laughter. Here's the good news to accompany that good weather:
- The ban on smoking in parks came and went, all within 24 hours.
- An unknown man rescued a little girl from a burning mini-van in Aberdeen.
- Rebuilding Mercer Street will commence in March. The state trooper who was shot in the head last week is suing the suspected shooter for $3 million.
And the bad news:
- Olympia's mayor pro tem arrested for selling pot.
- A downtown radio dead zone has SPD worried.
- Boeing is handing out 1,020 layoff warnings this morning.
- A couple walking on Aurora were mistaken for a pimp and prostitute and assaulted.
