We Have Good News, We Have Bad News
First, the bad news:
- A Seattle man is in police custody after punching his two-year-old son so hard the boy's heart stopped.
- Viaduct shut down last night after a major two car bang-up. Lanes reopened early this morning.
- Tea party groups make their way into Idaho and eastern Washington.
- McGinn draws a firm "no" towards the waterfront tunnel. (That could go in the "Good" list, too, depending on where you stand on the tunnel.)
- Police are on the lookout for a group of "men in hoods" who terrorized First Hill Saturday night.
And the good news:
- Seattle's one of the happier cities in the United States. The happiest? Boulder, Colorado.
- Microsoft is pulling MySpace and Facebook functions into Outlook. Looks like Buzz has them worried.
- A West Seattle man is taking on waterborne trash single-handed.
- Sea-Tac Airport best for on-time departures and arrivals in December.
- Hazmat crew called to Starbucks HQ found an "unknown white powder" but nothing harmful.
- Seattle's getting $30 million from the feds to repair Mercer.
