    I can smell it over here in South Lake Union as well...

    Yep. Our office building is at 1st & Virginia and we can smell it too.

    Driving on the viaduct today I noticed a huge smoke plume rising from near the mouth of the freight train tunnel, just below the Market.

    Not sure if it's just train exhaust, or a hobo burn barrel, or what.
