Stalk of the Town: Superbowl Weekend

field.JPG

Superbowl weekend! We at Seattlest plan to enjoy it. Here are our plans:

Sarah is dog sitting the best dog in the world (Friday night doggy fashion show), birthday partying, and spending the whole super bowl commenting on how wildly unattractive Peyton Manning is.

Regis is heading to Portland to check out their well-organized food trucks.

Ian is watching lovingly restored Kurosawa on the big screen, with a Super Bowl chaser.

After dealing with roof leak-related repairs for nearly three months, Jay is putting furniture back in the right places, then heading to an undisclosed location for a fiery Super Bowl party.

Amy is shopping for her trip to Mexico and maybe going to ABRAXAS Saturday night.

Mary will attend her first husky basketball game on Saturday. She will be working during the Superbowl and will therefore be unable to comment on how wildly unattractive Peyton Manning is.

Paul is heading to Germany, where the St. Pauli Girl is just another beer chick.

Jen is waiting for friends to get in from Portland for hopefully what will be a rain-free weekend of booze, good food, and miscellaneous debauchery. Also on the agenda is the attempt of winning a local trivia night for some cold hard cash, a couple free beers, or at the least, a lame t-shirt to send back to Portland as a parting gift.

Robert will be at his day job, sitting in a control room starting at 2 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. He'll watch the Super Bowl after a much need sleep.

In between numerous home improvement projects, seeing Avatar in 3D (having already seen it in 2D) and watching the Lingerie & Puppy Bowls at halftime, David Siegel will be experimenting with Alton Brown's Baby Back Rib recipe.

Ronald will attend the Seattle Wine Outlet Sausage Fest (Kielbasa Kickoff? Andouille Offsides? Pepperoni Potluck? Mortadella Mashup? Boclwurst Bowl? Wurst Wrangle?) on Sunday.
