The bad things that happened:

- A bomb squad blew up a suspicious suitcase at the Burien Park and Ride early this morning.
- Police say an Everett man accused of killing his girlfriend did so because she broke a Wiccan blood oath.
- Budget problems in Seattle continue.
- The Bellevue City Council wants to run light rail through the state's largest remaining wetland.
And the good:
- Boeing's going into the space travel business.
- McGinn has delayed his call for 200 city job cuts.
- The Humane Society is offering free spay and neuter services for pit bulls.
