Seattlest In Your Pocket

Hey iPhoners! Need a quick break from making iPad menstruation jokes for a few? We do, too. Now you can get your Seattlest fix when you're on the gogogo! We're happy to announce the launch of Istaverse, the new iPhone app from the Gothamist Network. The app is an aggregate of all the city blogs and their most recent posts. You can select Seattle (and it remembers on relaunch) and get the latest content, in addition to browsing what's new in all the ist cities across this big bad country.

For now, the app is simple. Browse the latest feed of posts, images, and videos. Email links. Basically, get your Seattlest on. The app stores the articles to a local database so you can access the content when underground or away from mobile network (sans images). This is just version 1.0; an updated 1.1 is already being worked on and will include improved video format, faster load time and better navigation/pagination.

One off apps for individual cities are coming soon as well, stay tuned kiddies!
