Can't Miss It: Monday

rikioh.jpg HEAD EXPLODING FUN: Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky is a 1991 flick from Hong Kong directed by Lam Ngai Kai, based on the Japanese comic book Riki-Oh. The film is best known for its brutal and borderline absurd violence. If Monday doesn't warrant watching some bare handed skull crushing, we don't know what does.

9:30 p.m. // Central Cinema // $6

MR. MILLER STILL RULES: Our American Theater Company brings us a staged reading of Arthur Miller's postwar-set drama, All My Sons. This performance continues the group's 5th season "Past is Prologue" theme. The staged reading will only be performed twice and is directed by Carys Kresny, and will be followed by a discussion with the cast, led by local playwright and theater critic, John Longenbaugh.

7:00 p.m. // Theater Off Jackson // pay what you will

BACHTASTIC: if you're really looking to sophisticate it up, Benaroya Hall brings us Organ Concert: Bach & More. "The Seattle Symphony presents a Fluke/Gabelein Organ Recital series concert featuring works by J.S. Bach and Olivier Messiaen. Organist Hans-Ola Ericsson, known for his recordings of Messiaen organ works, will perform on the Watjen Concert Organ, which boasts 4,490 pipes." That's a lot of pipes, yo.
