A weekend of Twilight

Today hundreds of fans will converge downtown to take part in the second of a three-day Official Twilight Convention. This morning is appropriately foggy, as the air is seemingly beckoning cast members to emerge and speak on the Twilight stage -- braving possible stage stormers, get one on one with photo ops ($30-$65), tell tales of the Red Carpet in a panel discussion, and sign autographs ($30). There will be vendors, short films, an auction, and tonight’s main event ($99) the Saturday Night Volturi Vampire Ball. Today’s special guests include characters Felix, Demetri, Sam Uley, and other (potentially shirtless?) cast members. The phenomenon has long taken over the entire country, but this three-day event will capture as much of the craze in one place at it possibly can.
