- Two kayakers whose craft overturned in Puget Sound were rescued by a Fire Department vessel.
- A Spokane couple is collecting cans to pay for their wedding.
- A ship wrecked and lost in 1958 was discovered on the coast of Oregon.
- The Marine Fisheries Agency is proposing rules to restrict boating in orca feeding areas.
