The bad news is:
- Two sheriff's deputies shot in Pierce county. The suspect has been killed. This is getting depressingly familiar.
- Another Arkansas felon transplanted to Washington has gone missing.
- Burglaries and assaults are up in Seattle.
- Opera enthusiast Perry Lorenzo has died at 51.
